Democracy in Leeds 1918-1929

I have just begun a research PhD at Huddersfield University relating to the reaction of the voters of Leeds and the Political Parties both locally and nationally, to the Voting Reform Act of 1918.

I am interested in blogging, e-mailing, though preferably not tweeting, with anyone who is studying a similar issue, whether related to the British electorate or other electorates around the world.

The concept for the essay has not yet fully crystallised, but should be an interesting modelling exercise to be applied to other states in the flux of democratic transition.
